The “C1LUX” weighing machine was born as a solution for those who wants to automatize the working process of tomatoes and vine tomatoes.

This new technology became commercially available in 2020, and enjoyed a great success in Italy but also abroad. It turned out to be very interesting for those who works with vine vegetables and fruits: cherry tomatoes, tomatoes and also grape.

The line is developed at the beginning with a manual pre-filling of the punnet, which moving through a weight control, informs the circular machine of an automatic weight correction. Two operators have the task of manually charge a minimum product quantity, which in turn will be weighed and unloaded on the side of the punnet to be filled. An operator at the end of the line will be in charge of positioning the fruit/vegetable inside the punnet. The line can be automatized upstream with a punnets destacker. The product unloading to the punnets conveyor belt happens through a dual exhaust, in order to guarantee an higher safety for the product and a higher speed. Our machines can be downstream connected with any packaging machine. In the eventuality of a minimum or a maximum weight that is detected by the weight control, a pneumatic pusher will provide to expel the non-compliant punnet.

We have point out that the machine can improve up to the 50% of production; with a net giveaway reduction. It provides a guaranteed capacity of 40 punnets/minute, with 6/7 working operators.

The weighing machine “C1LUX” is born for grape cherry tomatoes, but today is already used for vine tomatoes and, in a modified version, for dessert grape.
